Nghiêm Hoàng Linh

Co-President

Linh’s first involvement with VietAbroader was in 2011, when he was the guest speaker of VietAbroader Study Abroad Conference in Hanoi. Linh served in VietAbroader Executive Team 2012-2013 as an Associate of Forum; he was the Coordinator of the Webinar project, and the Chairman of YOFO – You’re Only Freshmen Once Networking Night.

Linh is deeply inspired not only by VietAbroader‘s mission, passion of past and current generations of VietAbroader, but also by the vast opportunities VietAbroader has created for him and Vietnamese youth to grow. As Co-President, he is committed to enhancing VietAbroader’s organizational culture, expanding community projects beyond study-abroad, and building a strong network among young Vietnamese talents.  

Currently, Linh is a rising senior at the University of Miami, Florida, where he majors in Finance and Mathematics. He loves doing research, playing piano and table tennis, and joining adventures in the sunny Florida.

Attending the very first VietAbroader Conference when still being in middle school, Thu was blown away by the passion of the guest speakers that she returned to VietAbroader later to serve in different roles, from Chair of VietAbroader Study-Abroad Conference 2011 in HCMC to Head of Funding in 2012 & 2013. After all those years, Thu is still strongly attached to the organization, constantly inspired by the people she has been working with, and is determined to keep pushing VietAbroader to make an even greater impact on the Vietnamese youth. 

Thu is currently a junior at Mount Holyoke College, majoring in Psychology and Education. She loves travelling, reading, watching TED talks, dancing, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
