VACC 2014 aims to arm local and overseas Vietnamese college students with necessary knowledge and skills to start a smart career and contribute to the sustainability of Vietnam.
More specifically, we will equip you with skills in:
– Career orientation
– How to write CV/Resume
– Interview skills
– Networking skills
In the Main Conference Day (26/07 – Morning), you will have an opportunity to listen to sharing and stories from professionals and leaders in many industries about:
– Overview of Job Market in Vietnam: Opportunities & Challenges
– Local vs. overseas students: How to best prepare for Vietnamese job market
– Future trend and requirements in specific industries (financial services, marketing/PR, education, startups/tech/e-commerce, social enterprises/NGO, MNCs)
In the Career Fair (26/07 – Afternoon), you will also have a chance to approach and apply for job and internship with many recruiters such as Abbott, Misfit Wearables, Unilever, Zalora, Lazada, etc.
Before the Main Conference Day on July, 26th, we will hold a series of activities to best prepare you for the conference and the career fair:

– Training Workshop
There are 02 applications cycles:
– Cycle 1: 16/06-30/06
– Cycle 2: 1/7 – 10/7
You will receive our decision within 10 days of application.
Note: The application form is considered on a rolling basis. The earlier you apply, the higher chance you get accepted to the conference.
Something to keep in mind when writing the application form:
a. Full name: Please write your full name in Vietnamese. For example: Nguyễn Văn An
b. Your GPA: please fill out your most recent GPA
c. CV/Resume: This is a compulsory part of the application form.

The training workshop and main conference will be mostly conducted in Vietnamese. However, English will also be used as a second language.
